I have used this method for making green beans several times in the past few years. It is simple to make and works wonderfully. The only downside to this method is that I have to use fresh herbs. A lot of people don’t like the taste of fresh herbs. As you can see from the photo, I use the same recipe for both green beans and tofu. I also use the same amount of tofu for both meals.
The way I have always made this recipe is to put the tofu in the microwave for about five minutes to cook it, then stir in the beans, cover the pot and cook on high for a good 20 minutes.
